On Set with Two Key Crew Members

'Pizza Operation' was the short-lived code name of the scrapbook they've been putting together about the making of CQALM.

Our A.P. and P.A.s oversaw the 'Vagabonds' between scenes

Our actors are awesome, but we don't want to forget the team behind the camera!
A few of the often-overlooked crew members are the A.P. (Associate Producer) and the P.A.s (Production Assistants).

They're the ones holding coffee mugs for directors, running for batteries, keeping the kids who played the 'Vagabonds' entertained between scenes, communicating with walkie-talkies between units, and so much more.

"So, I basically am the one running around," shared Rose, our A.P., in part of the 10 minutes of interview I cut out in this particular video. "The hardest part is, I'm usually put in charge of the Vagabonds. Being in a house, when it's raining, with twelve small children... We ended up doing a lot of relay races."

P.A. Hannah agreed. Like most of the other P.A.s, she played a 'soldier' as well as being on the crew. When Rose added that she doesn't act in this film (which isn't true anymore - we got both of them to be 'servants' during pick-up filming), Hannah laughed that she was missing out.
"Okay, I'm missing out on wearing black costumes, full length, every day?"

"The costumes are so hot," agreed Hannah fervently. "They're cool costumes, like assassins, but, it's hot."

No, this isn't a film still - they're still waiting but looking a little more epic.

After a brief pause in which the Directors and P.A. Jamin attempted to run through the frame, Abbi on her hands with feet held by Elizabeth, Hannah continued:  "My favorite locations were Bibler Gardens and Herron Park."
"I did not like Herron Park," Rose interjected. "There was zero shade, it was all so dry, and there were burrs. This [Leisure] was the only location I've gotten to look around, besides my own house."

I am very sorry to have share this, but it had to be done. We have the best servants - sorry, P.A. and A.P.! - ever!
They discussed their ideas for future projects, both talking excitedly about modern-day movies in which regular clothes can be worn. Rose would like a kids mystery, while Hannah threw out ideas such as "Sherlock Holmes, with blood, in the snow!"

"So to finish this off," announced Rose, "This week has been crazy exhausting, but the finished product is going to be good."

Hannah nodded, and added, "If you've seen Josh's [not yet released] interview, his word he came up with describes it all."
After a few seconds of trying to remember, they finally shouted: "Puntabulously Fantastic!"

Rose records audio during a scene in the woods.
What role should we discuss next? Sound people? Directors? Soldiers? Let me know in the comments!
